5-4-3-2-1 BLAM! Marty D's Laser 4.0 HyperTek J grain over-pressurizes at the instant the N2O starts for a spectacular booster destruction. This photo, taken at 1/1000 sec. clearly shows 3 fins in mid-air, black flying grain pieces, and the rocket propelling itself off the rail from the N20 bottle pressure!. At least Marty got a nice picture out of this! The exact cause for this CATO is under investigation, but the most likely cause was a problem with the O-ring which chilled the grain during the 40 second N2O fill, causing it to fracture at ignition.
