  1. I am a Tripoli member. Am I covered by my Tripoli insurance at a NAR launch?

  2. Do I need to be a Skybusters member to launch with you?

  3. What do I need to bring to a launch?

  4. I know very little about rockets. Will there be anybody that can help me at a launch?

  5. How high do the rockets go?

  6. Do you get the rocket back after launch?

  7. Are children permitted to attend your launches?

  8. Can I just come out to watch?

  9. Do the Skybusters launch in winter?

  10. What is your e-mail list for and can anyone sign up?

  11. Can anyone participate in the club chat on Thursday nights?

  12. Can I come to a Skybusters club meeting even though I am not a member?

  13. What is a hybrid rocket motor?

A hybrid rocket motor uses a solid fuel, typically celluose or plastic, and an oxidizer, usually liquid nitrous oxide (laughing gas). A regular motor uses black powder or ammonium perchlorate as fuel and the oxygen in the air. For more info on hybrid rocket motors see Hybrid Motors at Rocketry Online INFOcentral.

  14. How do I certify Level 1?
